In my area, there seems to be a lot of debate about which subway tile finishes work best in kitchens. I’m trying to decide between matte and glossy finishes for my backsplash, but I’m not sure which would hold up better over time. Also, are there specific finishes that tend to hide dirt or water marks better? I want something that looks great but is also practical to maintain without too much hassle.
