At Juan Rando Dance Academy, the passion for movement and rhythm comes alive under the leadership of highly trained and certified professionals. We invite you to explore an exceptional variety of representative groups in styles such as Salsa, Bachata, Argentine Tango, West Coast, and Zouk, all directed by our owner, Juan Rando.

Aditionally, we are proud to work closely with the innovative ballet projects led by talented choreographer Leonardo Guerrero: Salsa and Bachata Ballet AU and Tango Ballet AU. These groups combine the energy of social dance with the technique and artistry unique to each dance style, offering our dancers a unique dimension of growth.

We are the only ones in Perth to offer ongoing development plans, including both training groups and professional groups by 2026. With a team of professionally certified choreographers, our groups not only dance, but also represent the culture and soul of each dance at various events.

At JRDA, West Coast Swing is more than just a dance style — it’s a thriving community project built on connection, creativity, and growth. It’s a space where dancers learn not only technique and rhythm, but also how to express themselves, support each other, and build friendships through movement.

Tango Ballet AU was born from the desire to provide a unique type of training to individuals interested in the world of Argentine Tango. To establish a community of like-minded people to learn the very best techniques from around the globe. This project starts in the last quarter of 2023 and promises to continue for many more years
Salsa & Bachata Ballet is a new choreographic project directed by international dancer and choreographer Leonardo Guerrero, in collaboration with Juan Rando Dance Academy (JRDA). This initiative is designed to promote and celebrate the richness and diversity of Latin culture through dance — specifically Salsa and Bachata and other Latin rhythms such as Merengue, Cha-Cha-Chá, Boogaloo, Pachanga and more. This project aims to build an inclusive dance group where community members can come together to learn, practice, and perform, all while sharing their love for Latin music and movement.
