Just got the following from Tango Forge (Germany) thought I would post so we can see what we are missing! Dear Friends, We miss you! We miss tango! We've been waiting to find a situation that we know we can make welcoming, safe, and insulated from changing policies. We invite you to the countryside between Toulouse and Tarbes, where you can take notes on your tango seminars with your toes in the pool and a view of the Pyrénées. It's a famous gastronomic region, and we are surrounded by small producers and daily markets in the nearby villages. You can choose between several types of on-site accommodation or book something nearby. We have planned two of the three seminar weekends to coincide with the nearby Tarbes Tango Festival, which runs from 13-21.August 2022. The world-famous Tarbes Festival involves the whole town with concerts, tango art, outdoor and indoor milongas, and even includes a milonga on a Pyrénées mountaintop. There is usually one neomilonga mid-week. In the case that Tarbes cannot go forward, you can extend your stay here for a country holiday. You can include the seminar weekend as part of a trip to the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum or a Mediterranean holiday.. On Friday evening we'll have our first class and then a feast of all the local specialties. Saturday morning we'll guide you to a producers' market in the nearby town of Aurignac. Classes will be held indoors in the afternoons, leaving mornings free for biking the empty roads, horsebackriding from our neighbor's stable, visiting local artisans, or relaxing by the pool. Every day we'll have a free optional yoga class. You can prepare your own food or take our breakfasts and dinners. At night, we'll dance near the pool with lots and lots of stars. There's very little light pollution here and we can play the music as loud and long as we want to dance.
