So….Now that you are comfortable with WCS you will find our dance classes are the funnest way to progress to higher levels of dance in a fun social setting while getting the general techniques and fundamentals of WCS. All you need is a smile, a willingness to try and we will take care of the rest! No partner required.

What is West Coast Swing…? It is a partner dance characterised by a distinctive elastic look that results from its basic extension-compression technique of partner connection, and is danced primarily in a slotted area on the dance floor. Within the spectrum of partner dances, WCS is one of the most improvisational. West Coast Swing is traditionally danced to Slow Swing, Blues and Similar styles of music. These days, WCS is popularly danced to R&B music. It incorporates many complex turns emphasising a certain coolness in the way each person moves. Partners in this style are particularly flirtatious and playful in their interaction with each other.
